Abijah owes the beginning of her music journey to her grandpa, who was a luthier and gifted her with a violin he made when she was 5. At this age, instead of starting violin lessons, Abijah began piano lessons, and around age 9, she started begging for violin lessons. Since then, she has performed studio piano recitals in China, a choir and orchestra music tour in Spain, and with many orchestras in the United States, including the True North Symphony Orchestra, Great Falls Philharmonic, West Shore Symphony Orchestra, Hershey Symphony Orchestra, Harrisburg Symphony Youth Orchestra, Messiah University Symphony Orchestra, and University of Maryland Symphony Orchestra.
Abijah has performed in prestigious venues like the Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center Concert Hall, the Forum in Harrisburg, the Atlantic City Convention Center, the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, the Baltimore Museand Market Square Presbyterian Church. She has collaborated with many great musicians, including Marc-Andre Hamelin, Jason Max Ferdinand, Jacob Keith Watson, Toni Marie Palmertree, Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes, Lauren Daigle, Darren Lin, Dr. Paschal Younge, and Dr. Damian Savarino.
In her musical studies, she has been shaped by the guidance of Dr. Irina Muresanu, David Salness, Oleg Rylatko, Peter Sirotin, Ya-Ting Chang, David Neely, Michael Votta, Gregory Woodbridge, Dr. Timothy Dixon, Dr. Patrice Ewoldt, Dr. James Colonna, Holly Jenkins, Violaine Melançon, Harumi Rhodes, and Dr. Sandra Dackow. Abijah will graduate with distinction in May 2026 with her Master's in Violin Performance from the University of Maryland, College Park.
